BIGBOSS新庄剛志様をイメージしデザインさせていただきました。

Put the warm feelings of baseball gloves on fashion design. BIGBOSS I designed it with the image of Tsuyoshi Shinjo.

《デザイン解説》

新庄剛志様が、道具を大切にするお父様の教えを大事にし、現役１７年間、何よりも大切にして使い続けていたグローブへかける思いをファッションに乗せてデザインしました。

…４０個のグローブ…

使用しているのは野球グローブ。個人から大学野球部まで多方面から集めた数は４０個。『大切にしてきたけどもう使っていない状態で捨てることなどできない』『ボロボロだけど青春の想いがこもっている』

そのような思い出のグローブを集め仕立て上げました。

重量感はありますが、「思い出」という「想い」がこもっている温かい重さを感じる事ができます。

１つ１つが集まった宝物は野球選手を志す夢と希望に満ち溢れています。

新庄剛志様の道具を大切にする想いは今の時代だからこそ、より大事にしていくべき心温まる感情だと思います。

グローブを繋ぎ合わせて作られた背番号の『１』に込めた想いは

日本で１番楽しんでいる人であって欲しい、そして誰よりも温かい人であってほしいという思いを込めた背番号です。

グローブで掴んだボールは離さない。

大切に包み込むように受け止め決して離さない。心から安心できる包容力、受け止める人を愛し包み込み、時には自愛もできる、温かい想いが込められたデザインです。

《Design commentary》 Tsuyoshi Shinjo cherished the teachings of his father who cherishes tools, and designed the glove with the thought of cherishing and using it for 17 years. I'm using baseball gloves. We collected from various fields from individuals to college baseball clubs. "I've cherished it, but I can't throw it away when I'm not using it anymore." We have collected and tailored such memorable gloves. The There is a feeling of weight, but you can feel the warm weight that is filled with the "feelings" of "memories." The treasures gathered one by one are full of dreams and hopes to become a baseball player. I think that the feeling of valuing Tsuyoshi Shinjo's tools is a heartwarming feeling that should be cherished more because it is the present age. The feelings put into the number "1" made by connecting gloves This is a uniform number with the desire to be the person who enjoys the most in Japan and who is warmer than anyone else. Do not let go of the ball you grabbed with the glove. Take it carefully and never let go. It is a design with a warm feeling that you can feel at ease from the bottom of your heart, love and wrap up the person who receives it, and sometimes even self-love.

集まったグローブのパーツをなるべくそのまま生かし、デザインに順応させる為、丁寧にほどき仕立て上げました。職人様が一つ一つ丁寧に作っている事を肌で感じながら制作しました。

傷んでいる部分などは補修し使用しました。解体後に、カビなどで使用が難しいパーツでも、大切に削ぎ落として襟や背番号や小さな部分（Dカンのパーツやベルトループやポケットなど）に使用しました。

溢れる想いをこぼすことなく糸にデザインに込めて紡いで仕立てていく世界をご覧ください。

The collected glove parts are used as they are, and they are carefully unwound to adapt to the design. I made it while feeling firsthand that the craftsmen are making each one carefully. I repaired and used the damaged part. After dismantling, even parts that are difficult to use due to mold etc. were carefully scraped off and used for collars, uniform numbers and small parts (D-can parts, belt loops, pockets, etc.). Please take a look at the world of spinning and tailoring threads without spilling their overflowing feelings.

裏地にはBIGBOSSの名前をプリント

裏地は軽くする為に、グローブの写真をプリントした生地を使用。高画質プリントで立体的に表現。

The lining is made of fabric with a photo of gloves printed on it to make it lighter. Three-dimensional expression with high-quality print.

内側は着崩れのないようにナスカンで固定

The inside is fixed with Naskan so that it will not collapse

集まったグローブと向き合い、どの部位に適しているかなどを見極めました。破損と劣化があり解体するグローブもあるので、その前に全てを集めて写真を撮りデータ化して生地にして使用できるようにしました。思い出を残せるように工夫しました。グローブのプリント生地は本体の土台の生地、裏地、手袋、インナーのTシャツなどに使用しました。

We faced the gathered gloves and determined which part was suitable for them. Some gloves are damaged and deteriorated and are disassembled, so before that, I collected all of them, took pictures, converted them into data, and made them usable as fabrics. I devised so that I could leave memories. The glove print fabric was used for the base fabric of the main body, lining, gloves, inner T-shirt, etc.

グローブのパーツを余す事なく使用し温かみがありながらカッコ良いデザインにしました。

細部までこだわってます。内側にファスナー、ナスカンで簡単に着用できます。

We used all the parts of the glove to create a warm yet cool design. We are particular about the details. It can be easily worn with a zipper on the inside and Naskan.

グローブを集めて生地にしたプリントに印影をつけてクールに表現。

野球ボールの白がアクセントになりグローブを照らす存在感を醸し出してます。

A cool expression is added to the print made by collecting gloves and making it into a fabric. The white of the baseball ball accentuates the presence of the glove.

グローブ衣装のデザインそのままの世界観をプリントしました。背番号の１がアクセントです。

The design of the glove costume is printed as it is. The number 1 is the accent.

グローブには長年の想いが込められた使用感がそれぞれ違っていて、個々の個性と夢や希望を感じるものでした。硬くなっている部分が全部違い、丁寧にほどくのにも１個４０分かかりました。

新庄剛志さんの体の寸法に合わせて体を作り制作しました。

ミシンの針もレザー専用の太い針を使用しましたが、２０本ほど折れてしまうほど硬く難しい素材でした。重量感も大変あるので、筋肉痛になりながらの縫製でした。

Each glove has a different feeling of use with many years of thought, and I felt each individual's individuality, dreams and hopes. All the hardened parts were different, and it took 40 minutes for each piece to be carefully unwound. I made a body according to the dimensions of Tsuyoshi Shinjo's body. The needle of the sewing machine also used a thick needle exclusively for leather, but it was a hard and difficult material that would break about 20 needles. I felt a lot of weight, so I sewed while having muscle pain.

【あとがき】

今回の衣装製作で、改めて物を大事にするという事の尊さを感じました。

物に込められた大切な想いは人それぞれで… 私も若い頃には父の影響で野球をしてました。

もう使う事のないそのグローブを今でも大切にしているのは思い出が詰まっているからです。

BIGBOSS新庄剛志様のデザインに携わらせていただき、ファッションを通して、伝えていける事があると感じました。目に見えない感情や想いは世の中の先入観や固定観念をいとも簡単に飛び越えていける希望に満ち溢れています。

グローブのご協力をいただいた方々の夢と希望が詰まったこの衣装を多くの人に見ていただきたいです。そして、グローブには動物の革が使われています。だからこそ、作る責任と使う責任があります。それらをファッションで発信し続けていきたいと思います。関わってくださった全ての皆様に心から感謝致します。

[Postscript] With this costume production, I felt the preciousness of taking good care of things again. Each person has their own important feelings in things ... When I was young, I played baseball under the influence of my father. I still cherish the gloves that I no longer use because they are full of memories. BIGBOSS I was involved in the design of Tsuyoshi Shinjo, and I felt that there was something I could convey through fashion. Invisible emotions and feelings are full of hope that can easily jump over preconceptions and stereotypes in the world. I would like many people to see this costume filled with the dreams and hopes of those who cooperated with Gloves. And animal leather is used for the gloves. That is why we have a responsibility to make and use. I would like to continue to disseminate them in fashion. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who have been involved.
